Lyf's New Toy! Just in time.

So, all of the sudden we went from shorts and t-shirts to long pants and jackets! Saturday was cold and wet. Sunday church was freezing, the heat wasn't turned on yet. When we got home our house was 67 degrees. Something had to be done or else all the girls (including me) would freeze leaving only the hairy viking left comfortably watching football. Luckily, Lyf and some friends just bought a log splitter and Saturday Lyf split and stacked a bunch of wood. So, now we have a toasty fire going and the house is up to 74 degrees. We need to go get more wood but splitting it will be more fun this year. Our little stove heats our whole house. Last year we didn't turn on our furnace until March when we ran out of wood. It is great! The girls' bedrooms upstairs stay really warm, the master is the coolest, just how Lyf likes it and I bundle up and stay warm. Sounds like hot chocolate and popcorn weather to me!
