The kids were home for Martin Luther King Day so Lyf came home early and we headed to Zion for a picnic. We stopped at the Zion Lodge to see the Wildlife museum. Lyf and the girls loved all the animals and had fun finding the little hidden ones. Lyf gave a quiz to see how many they could name, specifically, not just big horn sheep but, stone big horn sheep and so on.
We drove thru the canyon and stopped to play in the river. MaryJane could keep herself busy half the day throwing rocks into the water. It was beautiful weather and we had a great time. All it takes is a few hours for a little outting to make you feel like you have broken the routine and had some fun.
