Painting the Playhouse

The girls got out of school early this week for parent/teacher conferences so we had a little time on our hands. The weather was so great and we were outside, I was pulling weeds and the girls were playing. Bethany has been waiting for warmer weather so that she could paint the playhouse. I have been putting her off because really, what a mess. But, she insisted and found some paint and it was a mess but it turned out great. Bethany was a real trooper and stuck with it even when the other girls were tired and went to play. Bryn played with Kate so that she didn't get so painty. It turned out to be a fun project, something that is good to have done. The playhouse looks a lot better, fun and bright. Good job Bethany for making me just do it.

I looked down from the loft and saw Lindy drizzling paint from her brush. We were all covered with blue and green paint. MaryJane was very good at painting every thing, windows included. She liked to paint the floor the best so you had to be careful or else you would get painted into a corner.
