Grandpa Reeve

My Grandpa Robert Reeve who was 86 years old died on July 19th. He was healthy and active up until about 10 days before he died, in fact he was still ranching and farming and we will enjoy the watermelon, fruits of his labor. I love my Grandpa. He was a good man who taught, by example, love, service, and hard work. He was a Hurricane pioneer. I am so grateful to be part of his posterity and hope that I can live so that he is pleased with my life.

This is a picture of him and Alice the Great.
The great grand kids got to ride in the limo from the cemetery to the church.

He loved his family, I am sure he is happy that he has such great grandsons.

He served in the Army during WWII so we were lucky enough to have the American Legion come for military honors. My cousin Jodi's husband Adam played taps with them.

My Aunt Ruthanna arranged the flowers. They were so fitting with red roses along with sage brush, cedar tree branches, and other things that my Dad and Uncle Reed gathered from the ranch including a horse shoe, bailing wire and barbed wire.
It was so neat and he would have loved it.
We will miss him so much but, are happy that he is with Grandma again.
