Pomegranate Jelly

My mom juiced enough pomegranates to give us 2 quarts of juice. At first I was sad that she was juicing them because they are so pretty and I love to decorate with them but, now I am happy to have the pretty jars of jelly. I made one batch of jelly and one batch of syrup, not on purpose. I was talking on the phone (I should never talk on the phone when I am doing something that takes any kind of extra attention.) and I poured the sugar right into the juice before it boiled. It didn't thicken and so now I have pomegranate syrup, I'm sure that it will be good. It is really pretty. Thanks for the juice mom and everybody that squeezed it.
